I love bourbon. Even more so, I love the stories behind the brands. Having worked with many distillers over my career, I never stop learning abut the nuances that make their whiskies unique. In this article, I focused on a local Massachusetts craft brand, Berkshire Bourbon, and Maker’s Mark, a little brand that grew in to something big with a lot of focus and passion. These companies share a commitment to handcrafted bourbon, using local corn and working around the clock to produce a product they are very proud of (and it tastes pretty darn good, too).
